A Summer Cover from 1959

Let's continue the fashion magazine cover thread that started on Friday with a post about a less arty yet fun and summery image from an August 1959 issue of the Italian weekly Grazia.

This cover featured two cute swimsuits: both made with a synthetic material, rhodia, they were produced by the brand Armonia. The one on the left in cadet blue, featured a pleated panel with a graphic floral print, while the one on the right was characterised by a simple shape and a colourful fruit pattern on white background. Do you find them inspiring and like their shapes? They look similar to the ones we mentioned in a previous post accompanied by their pattern, so, if you feel crafty, you can try and recreate them.
