About Anna Battista

Anna Battista is a writer, freelance journalist, translator, and independent researcher. Her work explores the crossroads of art, architecture, fashion, politics, culture, science and technology, and has been featured in international outlets like The Guardian, Vogue, Interview, Dazed Digital, and Port Magazine, as well as publications across the US, UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

She’s spoken at places like the Museum of Photography in Moscow, the AA Visiting School at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and TFAM in Taipei.

Since 2008, she’s run Irenebrination, a space she created to look beyond mainstream art, design, and fashion media, inspired by iconic Italian journalist Irene Brin. You can discover the archives at irenebrination.com.​

Anna currently researches the intersections between art, politics, economics, science, technology and Artificial Intelligence with a focus on new cultural-creative clustering strategies and innovative approaches to disruptive learning.
