French knitwear designer and artist Xavier Brisoux will be opening his new exhibition "Du Point à la Ligne" (literally, "From Point to Line", but there's a pun there as "point" in French also means "stitch", so you could read it also as "From Stitch to Line") at Villa Cavrois, in Croix, France, this weekend (the exhibition runs from 11th February to 5th March 2023).
We will discover more about it in the following days, but, to celebrate the event, Brisoux is offering to one Irenebrination reader one of his "Nautilus" brooches.
In a soft black yarn with some lurex touches, the handmade knitted biomimicry brooch is the same one that members of the Villa Cavrois staff will be wearing during the time of the exhibition. This token will allow one lucky reader to enter Brisoux's Maille Haute-Sculpture universe.
To win the "Nautilus" brooch (second and third image in this post) you will have to answer this question: "How many pieces Xavier Brisoux will be exhibiting at Villa Cavrois and in which room?" You will find the answer in one of the features posted on Irenebrination between Saturday 11th February 2023 and Sunday 12th February 2023.
The competition opens today as this post goes live and closes at 11pm CET on 12th February 2023 and it is valid worldwide. The first reader to send the correct answer will win this exclusive design by Xavier Brisoux. The winner will be contacted via email. Please send your answer (with your name and address) to: [email protected] Good luck!
