In yesterday's post we looked at a green hat conjuring up the Christmas atmosphere, let's remain in the realm of accessories for another day with two pair of shoes (both from the collection of The Museum at FIT) in which the same shade prevails.
The first one was designed by André Perugia (1893-1977): dating around 1930-1932, the Art Deco painted gold pumps featured a bold, geometric green kid leather zigzag pattern inset and Louis style heel.
The second image refers instead to evening shoes from 1979 by Halston (1932-1990): the evening sandals, in bright emerald green satin and silvertone metallic leather, featured a sensual metallic cord ankle tie and sharply tapered high heel. Which one would you choose to step into the Christmas holidays?
