Coronavirus has had a terrible impact in the North of Italy: among the regions that suffered a high death rate there is Veneto. Without its tourists, Venice, a town that has barely managed to recover from last year's heavy rain and flood, turned into an eerily quiet place.
Yet, local museums have launched campaigns to entertain visitors digitally and are currently promoting their collections posting images and stories on social networks every day. Venice's Palazzo Fortuny started posting a series of fun activities including digital jigsaws showing the interiors of the palazzo, to help people in quarantine, self-isolation and lockdown passing the time.
Irenebrination is following their example with a puzzle taken from a Fortuny picture from the "Mariano Fortuny, An Artistic Legacy" trilogy of posts (divided in Part I, Interlude and Part II) published last year. The puzzle shows Fortuny's iconic Delphos gown (1920 circa) matched with a printed silk velvet cape (1920-25). If you want some clues to solve the puzzle or if you want to make it more difficult and hide the background image, click on the icons on the lower left side of the image. Once you're finished, don't forget to go back to that trilogy of posts to learn more about this extraordinary artist and designer.
