Last Saturday we looked at the construction of two 1960 dresses. Let's continue that thread for an Easter Monday project with a dress pattern from the same year.
This bright pink cotton faille dress was designed by Italian tailoring house Tizzoni and was characterised by a bustier (divided in five parts as you can see from the pattern) with a decorative knotted motif.
The best part of the dress was the ample skirt that featured a pleated motif inspired by sunrays that, radiating from the waist, brought dynamic movement to the silhouette. Have a creative Easter Monday!
