So US Vogue actually credits the pictures it finds on other sites and uses to illustrate its features. An example? A few days ago it actually credited the Roberta di Camerino image I had used for this post to accompany one of their articles about the trompe l'oeil styles in Gucci's S/S 2016 collection.
Unfortunately, it credited it as "Courtesy of Inebriation", proving that what my friend stated when I first launched this site in 2008 ("sounds like a difficult word, they will never get it...") was true. Well, dear US Vogue, if you ever read this, this site is called Irenebrination, in homage to Italian journalist Irene Brin. So, next time try to check your spellings, after all, in this case you just needed to copy and paste the name of a site. Or maybe the next time you can ask me to write such a piece for you as I may know where to find historical and rare images better than you do...
