LA-based stylist and designer Brett Bailey is just back home after spending a few days in New York, following the fashion week.
Before going he told me he was interested to see which designers would pull through with innovation during our financially troubled times. "Fashion is suffering especially in the US and we need to keep progressing as artists," he explained me, adding he was on the lookout for pieces that would stand out thanks to their interesting shapes, colors and textures.
The shows Brett saw were promising and he's already done a few styling experiments inspired by the new collections. While waiting for them to be published and for Brett's own collection - inspired by Tim Burton and Klaus Nomi - to come out, you can see Brett's NYFW pictures on Flickr or read my interview with him on Dazed Digital.
