A few students got in touch about yesterday's post asking if there was the chance to get further circuit-related inspirations. So, rather than looking at electronics and technology, let's look at a different type or circuit from an arty perspective.

Frank Stella's "Pau Circuits" (1981) is part of a series based on the artist's interest in car racing (each artwork was named after an international racetrack). The artwork seems to be characterised by the same themes and elements we saw in yesterday's post – geometries and abstractions. Yet, while Cathy Harris' piece of jewellery was made using acrylic, this work was created assembling together painted metal pieces. Hopefully it will be inspiring to the readers who got in touch. Enjoy!
