Lazy Sunday Project: From Teapot-Shaped Watercan to Surreal Handbag

Fancy a new (possibly surreal) bag but can't afford it? Don't despair, but move from the "against scarcity; inventiveness" mantra we learnt at the 15th International Architecture Biennale. Take a teapot-shaped plastic watercan of the sort you can find in Tiger Stores, cut it along its lid (put some velcro under the lid to keep it in place) and, well, wear it in truly Schiaparelli style!

It may turn into the ideal bag to go to the beach (it's made of plastic and it's therefore washable) or can add a sort of Schiaparelli-meet-Alice in Wonderland touch to your style. When you're tired, rather than throwing it out, you can always return it to its original purpose and use it once again as a a watercan. Enjoy!
