Rome's Haute Couture Fashion Week starts tomorrow with its usually rather shambolic programme. But if you're around the Italian capital for holiday reasons, you're a shoe addict and are on the lookout for some vintage pieces, you may be happy to hear that there is a Vintage Pop Up shop at Dal Co' (Via Vittoria 65, just around the corner from the Spanish Steps).

The shop offers both Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer looks in a variety of colours and materials and from various decades. All the shoes are handmade and sizes go from 38 to 40/41 (European sizes; you will find quite a few designs available in large sizes such as 40/41 as they were runway samples donned by supermodels, Marpessa included).

The good news is that, if you ever want any of the shoes embellishments to be altered, you can do so by just turning to the in-store artisans (but another option is find two pairs of the same shoe and mix and mismatch it to have some fun).

Launched at the end of January to celebrate the Haute Couture weeks in Paris and Rome, the shop will remain open till stock lasts.
