In a way this post is directly related to yesterday's.
After I mentioned to the director of the Rome-based Archivio Collezione Marco Garzia my passion for Luchino Visconti's The Leopard and for the costumes in this film, Mr Garzia produced one of the many mirrors used in the ball scene.
The mirror is not for sale actually, though it gets hired for other film productions, events and fashion shoots.
I may have done multiple posts on Visconti and his films in connection with fashion, but I never thought I would have ended up doing a post also on a Visconti prop one day. Well, guess there's always a first time…
