Got this card wishing me a Happy Chinese New Year in attach with my emails and couldn't really resist posting it on the blog since it's too cute and also put me in a good mood.
The sender is Shai Levy, the designer behind Seventy Eight Percent, a Hong Kong-based accessory label.
Shai relocated from Tel Aviv to Hong Kong a few years ago, establishing his company and producing bags in vegetable tanned leather and Egyptian cotton canvas dyed and woven in Japan (we will discover more about him in a future post, promise). I had a nice chat with Shai a few weeks ago at the Pitti trade fair and we briefly exchanged opinions about the rise of the Asian markets and Hong Kong.
Wishing Shai and all my friends in Hong Kong (there are a few scattered over there…) a very Happy Year of the Rabbit!
