A while back I spotted at the Sermoneta glove shop inside Fiumicino airport these gloves and I couldn't resist taking a picture.
The ivory gloves pictured here are part of the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection and feature some interesting lace inserts.
I thought that this could be a nice idea to renew an old pair of leather gloves (of the kind you easily find at vintage shops and markets) just cut away parts of the worn out leather and replace them with inserts of bobbin lace or macramé. Definitely something to try out!
