If you regularly follow this blog you probably already know Elia Maurizi’s work. Indeed, a while back I posted on the blog an interview with him.
I met Elia again at Pitti where he introduced me to a nice project he developed with Francesca B.
The Italian accessory designer has so far made quite a few collections of jewellery, using the most disparate materials, from leather to wool, cotton, buttons and even kid’s rubber balls.
Elia and Francesca’s project consists in a sort of compact kit featuring a pair of shoes, a bow tie, two pairs of socks and a bubble gum packet.
The accessories come in different colours and prints and in their men/women’s version (in this case the bow tie is actually a cute necklace). Looks like a handy and clever idea, especially for travelling purposes.

I saw them at Pitti too and also I liked their idea a lot! 😀
