I was rambling through the Pitti trade show when, while walking around the area dedicated to urbanwear called Urban Panorama, I ended up in front of a stand I seemed to know quite well, it was indeed the Elvine one.
Having recently stayed at the Creators Inn by Elvine I found it rather bizarre finding the stand here in Italy.
But it wasn't all, I also ended up meeting artist Francesco Vezzoli at Palazzo Pitti's Costume Gallery where the brand new book Walter Albini e il suo tempo. L'immaginazione al potere (Walter Albini and His time. Imagination in Power) edited by Maria Luisa Frisa and Stefano Tonchi was presented (Vezzoli did the cover for the book – sorry for bad quality image, difficult to take a decent pic with bad lighting in hotel room and reflective book cover).
