Been on a tour of Stockholm's Östermalm area, trying to avoid the more expensive shops by luxury brands and checking out stores by independent local designers and labels.
Will post more pics in further posts, in the meantime here are a couple of photographs of the Acne window shops in Norrmalmstorg 2.
The shop is still in a sort of festive mood with a "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" message (see bottom of the window shop).
Dummies with minimalist black and white cardboard faces are made up to look like chic jazz singers and classic musicians, clad in black clothes characterised by simple lines.
I think what I like about these shop windows is the fact that they don't feature anything excessively Christmassy like red, silver or golden clothes and accessories, but stylishly timeless black suits and dresses.
