If you have followed this blog you may already be familiar with the label oNONO, launched by Brazilian young designer, DJ, stylist and visual artist Ademar Ferrera, better known among his friend simply as “AD”.
Ferrera presented his new collection, entitled “oNONO eN eXTASIS” during the 26th Casa de Criadores event.
For this new collection, inspired by religion, faith and popular culture, Ferrera opted for an unusual installation that comprised a mysterious figure clad in a canvas with a print of the Turin Shroud; Pop art-like images of Jesus Christ and portraits of Barack Obama and techno saints in neon coloured Moses-like robes or jackets with prints of evangelical preachers holding a pair of sneakers and neon lights instead of incense braziers and crosses.
