I have been following the Festival International des Arts de la Mode in Hyères for a few years and I must admit that one of the most interesting prizes it assigned was the special award granted in 2006 to Finnish design duo Laitinen.
The award was judged by Ann Demeulemeester, but what I found really great at the time was the fact that the designers were given the chance to collaborate with an important Italian fabric company, Punto Seta.
