An hour ago the winners of the menswear edition of the competition Who’s On Next were announced.
The special award went to the Leitmotiv duo, a sort of crossover duo between Basso & Brooke and Fornasetti; Umit Benan won the ready-to-wear award with a collection characterised by relaxed silhouettes and shapes and the accessory award was won by my fave one, talented Max Kibardin.
Max designs both men and women’s shoes, and at Pitti Immagine he presented some beautiful footwear made in Italy following the highest possible standards, using the softest leathers and respecting traditional craftsmanship techniques. The new collection also features some amazing shoes with “intrecciato” motifs in acid yellow and bright blue. Congratulations to all the winners and see you in January to showcase your collections at a special Pitti catwalk show!
